Bybit CEO Says Security Is Essential as AI and Tokenization Reshape Finance

Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said Nov. 3 that artificial intelligence, asset tokenization and connected financial infrastructure are reshaping services by linking markets more closely, a shift he said could improve efficiency and broaden participation.

Zhou made the remarks during a fireside chat at the main forum of Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026. He said wider access and efficiency are not enough: financial services also need security, risk management and compliance as they become more closely integrated with technology infrastructure.
