Wordflow founder and CEO Zay Yang and Pepperstone growth consultant Andy Francos say AI chatbots may shape which forex brokers consumers consider, placing a shortlist before visits to company websites.

Francos said assistants can respond to broker-selection questions with three or four names, giving users possible candidates before they reach a brokerage site. The interviewees’ examples concern forex firms and do not establish how AI systems recommend cryptocurrency exchanges.

Wordflow offers software that tracks brand visibility and citations across AI search products, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews. “Most of your visibility isn’t on your site at all,” Yang said.

Google AI Overviews had more than 2.5 billion monthly active users, and AI Mode had more than one billion monthly users in figures published June 3 and updated Aug. 31. Those audience counts do not show how often brokers appear in AI answers.
