Chainlink announced Nov. 3 that it expanded Asia-Pacific equity data streams across five markets, adding China, Taiwan and Hong Kong to feeds previously launched in Japan and South Korea.

The announcement put the equity markets across China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong at more than $40 trillion. Chainlink named TSMC, Tencent, Samsung, SK Hynix and BYD among the companies covered, and said the feeds are live on Lighter, Jupiter and Predict.fun.

The exchange list includes Korea Exchange, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Taiwan Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange. The six exchanges are listed as available, but no APAC equity streams are listed as available on mainnet.

The streams provide mid, bid and ask prices and a market-status field, with prices quoted in local currencies. They follow each exchange’s standard trading schedule, including closures and intraday breaks, and do not offer extended or overnight sessions.

A separate calculation of August 2026 domestic market capitalization across Hong Kong Exchange, Japan Exchange Group, Korea Exchange, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Taiwan Stock Exchange totaled about $41.13 trillion. The calculation uses Japan Exchange Group for its Japanese entry, while the feed list names Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Chainlink’s more-than-$40-trillion figure describes the value of the underlying equity markets. It does not represent tokenized shares or trading activity on blockchain platforms. Applications can use the data to build equity-linked products such as derivatives.

Each APAC feed relies on a single institutional data provider, without redundant validation across providers.
