Anthropic Reportedly Uses Claude for Custom Chip Design Work

Anthropic engineers reportedly estimate Claude could shorten chip-design time relative to estimated traditional workflows at Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

At recent investor meetings, Anthropic discussed its 15-person custom-chip team, which is applying Claude to engineering and design tasks.

The comparison rests on estimates of those companies’ processes, rather than measured design time for the same work.
