Kim Yo Jong Says Binance Hack Reflects U.S. Policy Toward North Korea
Her second statement on the incident in three days called dialogue a possible path to peace but said it may not serve North Korea’s interests.

Kim Yo Jong said Wednesday that North Korea views the Binance hot-wallet breach as part of U.S. policy toward Pyongyang, adding that dialogue may not serve the country’s interests.
In her second statement on the incident in three days, Kim described dialogue as one option for preserving peace. She said North Korea had no reason to meet people it considers hostile and untrustworthy, and hinted at a forceful response without naming a measure.
Kim’s comments followed her Nov. 2 denial, in which she called allegations about North Korea’s role in the hack politically motivated and baseless. Trump previously said he would communicate with North Korea if it were behind the incident.
Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, suffered a hot-wallet compromise on Oct. 29.
