ZachXBT says he identified more than $27 million in additional withdrawals from centralized crypto exchanges tied to an illicit actor, lifting the incident’s reported transfer total above $133 million.

Some withdrawals took place after ZachXBT’s initial disclosure. The update counts the new exchange withdrawals within the same incident tally, so the $27 million-plus is part of the $133 million-plus total, not an additional amount on top of it.

CEX is shorthand for a centralized exchange. The update distinguishes withdrawals newly identified from the total amount transferred in the incident. In other words, the $27 million-plus is the added withdrawal amount, while the $133 million-plus is the cumulative figure after those withdrawals are included.

ZachXBT characterizes the actor as illicit. Both amounts are expressed as minimums — more than $27 million in added withdrawals and more than $133 million in incident transfers — rather than exact sums. The update expands the initial disclosure by adding exchange activity that occurred afterward.
