Tencent Releases Hy4 AI Model With Cross-Application Computer Controls
The model is available through Tencent Cloud and OpenRouter. Tencent plans to release its weights as open source soon.

Tencent has released the full version of Hy4, an AI model that can operate across software with screen, mouse, keyboard and command-line inputs, expanding it into computer-based tasks.
The model is available through Tencent Cloud and OpenRouter. Hy4’s GameDev evaluation score rose 19.1% and its GameLogic score rose 9.8% compared with the August preview. Hy4’s evaluation results put its performance alongside leading open models. Tencent trained Hy4 in a sandbox with hundreds of software applications, where it could practice tasks and check its results.
Tencent said Hy4 reconstructed nearly seven million cells in a mouse embryo in 1.5 hours without human intervention. Tencent also said an internal test found that the model identified a bottleneck in a training system and increased training throughput by 20.1%.
The release follows Tencent’s earlier plan for Hy4. The company kept API pricing at the preview level and plans to release Hy4’s weights as open source soon. Tencent Cloud standard API calls are half price before Dec. 31. Token Plan subscribers are charged 25% of their usual credits before Nov. 18.
