A Binance employee said the exchange is willing to share details of a recent security attack with rival platforms, as it outlines system repairs and plans for an independent review.

The employee, posting under the handle sisibinance, said affected wallet systems had been rebuilt in a new environment by Tuesday, Nov. 3. Binance also rebuilt internal AI tools with tighter permissions, replaced related devices, invalidated credentials and tokens, and closed intrusion points identified in the report.

Binance had previously outlined parts of its response in an earlier recovery update. Sisibinance said the exchange is willing to share the attack’s characteristics with other exchanges, including competitors.

Binance invited an independent third-party security organization to review the incident. The exchange plans to make the review’s conclusions public when they are available, the employee said.

Sisibinance said Binance would take responsibility for the incident and cover the losses. The exchange would also work with law enforcement and on-chain entities to pursue funds that had been frozen or intercepted, the employee said.

The employee said withdrawal volumes during the first two days after withdrawals resumed were of the same order of magnitude as the amount stolen, and that all withdrawals were honored. Sisibinance also said Binance had not misappropriated customer assets.
