Binance has restructured its security boundaries around zero-trust and least-privilege principles and pledged to fully cover user-fund losses after a security incident, co-founder 何一 said Nov. 4.

She said Binance updated devices, reset AI tools and revised permissions and security environments across departments. The statement responded to criticism of the exchange’s security and access management.

何一 said an earlier incident report retained details as a reference for industry peers, including the complexity of social engineering attacks and AI permission-boundary issues. A security audit report will follow, and she welcomed AI security specialists to join Binance.
