Binance Expands Reserve Snapshot to 44 Tokens After Security Incident
The exchange plans to buy the remaining low-liquidity tokens. Its reserve snapshot covers 44 tokens, up from 10, and a full proof is expected to take 50 to 60 hours to generate.

Binance’s latest recovery update puts replenishment at about 98% and expands its proof-of-reserves snapshot to 44 tokens, giving customers a broader way to check reserve backing as the exchange closes out the theft response.
Binance plans to buy the remaining 2% through market and over-the-counter trades. It described those tokens as having low liquidity, which may make the purchases take time. Binance said it will cover all losses from the stolen funds and has set aside more than the amount needed to cover them.
The snapshot was completed Nov. 4 and covers 44 tokens, up from 10 in the previous round. Binance expects the full zero-knowledge proof to take about 50 to 60 hours to generate. Once available, holders of covered tokens will be able to check independently whether their account balances have at least one-for-one reserve backing.
Token replenishment tracks the affected assets replaced, while the separate reserve set-aside covers the losses Binance agreed to bear. TokenPost previously covered details of the incident.
