Nothing Plans December Shipments for Its First AI-Native Product
CEO Carl Pei called it a productivity tool but did not identify its form or give a specific shipping day.

Nothing CEO Carl Pei said Nov. 4 the company plans December shipments for its first AI-native product, adding a timeline to a project whose form remains undisclosed.
Pei called it a productivity tool. “It has no new screen, and it couldn’t have been an app,” he wrote. He described the product as a tool shaped by the personality and care associated with Nothing’s products.
Pei set the announcement against a broader search for an “iPhone moment” in AI, listing pendants, pins, glasses and companion devices as possible ways to bring the technology into everyday life. He said he admired the ambition behind those ideas but saw the market differently, without explaining how that view shapes Nothing’s product.
Nothing has also discussed plans for AI-linked smart glasses and earbuds with AI features. Pei did not say whether the December product is connected to either plan or how customers will use it. The company has not named a specific shipping day.
