X’s Rebuilt App Shows First Profile Post in 2.7 Seconds on Slow 4G

X is bringing its rebuilt web app to signed-in X.com accounts in stages; a Slow 4G lab test recorded the first profile post in 2.7 seconds, versus 23.9 seconds before.

X’s Nov. 3 comparison measured the time until a profile’s first post appeared. Under the Slow 4G lab conditions, the previous app took 23.9 seconds and the rebuilt app took 2.7 seconds. Actual performance varies by device and network.

The rebuilt app already serves logged-out X.com and search-engine pages. Access for signed-in X.com users is expanding across countries in stages.
