Tom Lee Says Wider Token Use Could Strain Computing Capacity

He said broader use could push computing prices higher and bring bottlenecks back into discussion, while communities want investment on their own terms.

BitMine Chairman Tom Lee said broad token use could make computing power scarce and more expensive, reviving bottleneck concerns and underscoring his view that the AI trade would be vibrant over time.

Lee described a possible chain of events: If everyone began using tokens, computing power could become scarce, prices could rise and bottlenecks could return to discussion. He presented this as a possibility, not as a shortage that has already occurred.

Lee also said states may welcome investment, while communities want it on their own terms.
