The exchange said the exposed information did not include names, addresses, trading records or passwords, and it found no unauthorized access to its own systems.

Zaif said unauthorized access to email provider Arara exposed 380,536 customer email addresses held for the Japanese crypto exchange, which said it found no unauthorized access to its own systems.
Zaif disclosed a potential leak on Nov. 2. It received confirmation that customer email addresses were exposed and obtained a list of affected addresses on Nov. 4.
The exchange said the information it had provided to Arara consisted only of email addresses. Names, addresses, trading records and passwords were not included in the data, Zaif said.
