ZetaChain Vote Would Move ZETA to Solana and End Token Inflation
The vote closes Saturday, Nov. 7. The proposal also schedules a Dec. 9 launch for privacy-focused AI app ZetaLabs.

ZetaChain token holders are voting on a plan to shut down the network’s layer-1 blockchain and move ZETA to Solana on Dec. 9, a change that would end token inflation.
If approved, ZetaChain’s layer-1 network would stop operating around Dec. 9. Under the plan, ZETA would move at a 1:1 ratio to a Solana-native token, and its minting authority would be permanently revoked. Holders would not need to take action before the migration.
About 55 million ZETA in unallocated validator rewards would be burned monthly under the existing release schedule. The proposal says supply would decline during 2027, with no additional inflation after the move.
ZetaLabs, a privacy-focused AI application that will use ZETA as its core token, is also scheduled to launch Dec. 9. Investor and core contributor tokens are scheduled to be fully unlocked Jan. 1, 2027, and the foundation pledged not to sell ZETA newly unlocked that year.
Voting closes Saturday, Nov. 7, on ZetaHub.
