Tencent Expands Hy4 Inference Cluster Tenfold on WorkBuddy

Tencent’s Hy4 model drew a surge in calls on WorkBuddy, prompting a tenfold expansion of the Hy4 inference cluster. Tencent also raised the free-use quota for WorkBuddy users and will continue adjusting resources.

Hy4 first became available on WorkBuddy Nov. 4, the same day Tencent released the model’s full version. That release added visual understanding, tool calling and computer use, extending Hy4’s ability to handle tasks across software. Read TokenPost’s report on Hy4’s release.

High-end computing capacity remains limited, and usage is concentrated during peak periods, so temporary limits may remain at some times. Tencent recommended switching to Hy3 or another model, or trying again during evening off-peak periods.

Hy3 free access on WorkBuddy has been extended through Nov. 15, 2026.
