Coincheck suspended crypto withdrawals after an external on-chain analytics service used to review transactions failed, delaying deposits and preventing customers from submitting requests on the platform.

The processing problems began at about 10:04 a.m. ET Nov. 4 (15:04 UTC). Coincheck paused accepting cryptocurrency withdrawal requests while the service issue remains unresolved. Deposit processing is also delayed.

The exchange is canceling requests submitted but not fully processed. Some requests are being held for sequential review after systems recover. Funds from canceled withdrawals have been returned to customers’ account balances.

Coincheck said the disruption did not involve unauthorized access to its platform and that customer assets remain safe. It has not given a time for normal service to resume, saying it will issue a separate update once operations are restored.

Coincheck is a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange, and the service failure has interrupted its crypto transfer operations.
