Crypto commentator @lookonchain attributed an 885 Ether (ETH) deposit into Tornado Cash, valued at about $2.14 million, to the CryptoBilis Ledger drainer, marking another reported transfer tied to the device theft.

That deposit is separate from 2,990.3 ETH deposited into Tornado Cash between Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, an earlier transfer valued at about $7.45 million. The new deposit adds another movement of funds linked to the incident.

The theft affected buyers of Ledger devices sold through Southeast Asian distributor CryptoBilis. On Oct. 11, Ledger said it had found an unauthorized hardware implant in one victim’s device.

On Oct. 15, Ledger characterized the case as a distribution-channel attack involving devices modified after they left its control. It said its chip, operating system and servers were not compromised. The company did not state a total loss figure.
