Aina Opens Limited $399 Preorders for AI Agent Ring Set to Ship in January
The ring is set to ship in January 2027. It will support iOS and Mac at launch, with further integration details planned after launch.

Aina opened limited Super Early Bird preorders for the Aina Ring on Thursday, Nov. 5, introducing a wearable that puts suggested actions from AI agents on a small display. Users can approve or reject suggestions with thumb gestures. The limited preorder tier starts at $399, and Aina plans to begin shipping in January 2027.
The ring’s Context Aware Operating System uses patterns from a wearer’s phone, computer and AI agents to surface suggestions. It displays one suggestion, called a Cue, at a time. Examples include preparing an Uber request before a regular commute and offering to send a message when someone is running late for a meeting.
Users can press and hold the center button to speak with agents or take notes. The ring also includes controls for phone calls, meetings and media. Its listed specifications include an OLED display, titanium construction, up to 18 hours of battery life, IP65 protection and seven sizes.
The preorder page lists three price tiers: $399 for Super Early Bird units, $419 for Early Bird units and $449 for General units. Further integration details are planned for after launch. The ring is set to support iOS and Mac at launch.
Aina founder Apoorv Shankar said, “For interacting with proactive agents, we need a better interface.” The ring entered a controlled private pilot in early October.
The Aina Ring follows Dune, a three-key keypad for Mac that the company introduced in April 2026. Aina shipped Dune to hundreds of early adopters. Shankar, who founded Aina in May 2025, previously served as vice president of hardware at Ultrahuman.
