Optimism said the ZiskVM team is experimenting with its OP Stack, an open-source framework used to build Ethereum layer-2 networks.

Teams can use the stack to operate independent chains. World, Unichain and Soneium run their own OP Stack networks, while Ink uses OP Enterprise. These networks operate independently, so moving assets between them requires a bridge.

The OP Stack’s network model also includes applications on OP Mainnet, the ecosystem’s shared chain.
