Google Makes Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash Generally Available With 15-Second Video
Users can refine clips with follow-up prompts and reference images.

Google has made Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash generally available through its Gemini API and Gemini for business, giving developers and companies access to native video clips of up to 15 seconds.
The maximum clip length has increased from 10 seconds in earlier versions. Users can adjust a video with follow-up prompts, and the model carries context from earlier exchanges to keep scenes consistent. Reference images can also guide a generation.
Generated videos include synchronized audio and Google’s SynthID watermark. The model supports video generation at resolutions up to 4K.
Developers can use the Gemini API, while Google AI Studio is available for prototyping. Creators can access the model through Google Flow. Google lists the API and Gemini for business as generally available.
The Gemini Omni family debuted at Google I/O on May 19, 2026. Version 1.1 added scene extension and controls for a clip’s opening and closing frames.
