Anza urged Solana mainnet validators to install Agave 4.4.1 before a Nov. 6 cutoff, warning that nodes without the patch would split from the network at epoch 1079.

The deadline was projected for 9:30 p.m. Beijing time on Nov. 6, or 8:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). Anza tied the risk to nodes that had not installed the specified release by the scheduled network milestone.

Agave 4.4.1 applies a minimum loaded-data size requirement to loader-v3 ProgramData accounts. That account rule was identified as the technical change in the release.

The recommendation named both a software version and the epoch at which the network split was expected. Anza's warning linked the account-loading requirement to whether nodes using the release would remain on the mainnet after epoch 1079. The stated Nov. 6 cutoff was the deadline for the recommended upgrade.
