Telcoin plans to begin operating its public blockchain in December with its first validators, setting a month for the mainnet launch after previously targeting sometime later in 2026.

Telcoin says final preparations are underway. The network is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and is secured exclusively by GSMA mobile-network operators. Telcoin (TEL), the native token of the Telcoin Platform, serves as Telcoin Network’s gas token.

Validator onboarding with mobile operators was already underway when the Telcoin Association appointed Pairpoint co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer David Palmer as a strategic telecom adviser on Oct. 13. Palmer’s remit includes mobile-operator participation and broader ecosystem development. The association governs the Telcoin Platform.
