CZ urged iPhone users to update iOS as DarkSword raises concern that sensitive information on infected devices may be exposed, a risk with particular relevance to crypto holders.

DarkSword reportedly targets information stored across an infected iPhone. The threat description also includes ordinary browsing as a possible exposure risk, placing routine use of a compromised device within the same security concern as sensitive information stored on it. The warning is framed around data across the phone, rather than a single named item or action.

For crypto holders, that broad scope is the central issue: information associated with crypto use may be exposed when an iPhone is infected. The reported risk does not depend solely on an intentional interaction with a crypto service; ordinary browsing is also part of the threat description. CZ's call is to update iOS in response to the DarkSword threat. The concern centers on potential data exposure across the infected phone.
