Keystone said a cyberattack disrupted some Nexus App services and temporarily prevented some users from using the app, prompting a security update for its mobile wallet software.

The team said it responded quickly and strengthened server protections. The update adds further security measures after that response. Some users had been unable to use the application normally during the disruption.

Version 1.3.7 is available on Google Play, while the iOS release is still awaiting App Store review. Keystone urged users to update and check that the developer is listed as “Yanssie HK Limited” before installing, and warned them to avoid counterfeit apps.

Keystone said its current investigation has found no evidence that user assets or personal information were affected. Until the iOS version is available, users can sign transactions with third-party wallets supported by Keystone.

Keystone is a hardware wallet maker, and the incident involved services within its Nexus App.
