Binance co-founder 何一 said Friday, Nov. 6, that the exchange’s newest zero-knowledge proof for its proof-of-reserves program is ready, though users may have to wait before checking their balances.

The proof lets users verify whether their Binance account balances have at least 1:1 asset backing. How soon the check becomes available varies with the scale of the assets, and the timing is outside Binance’s control, 何一 said.

The statement follows Binance’s earlier timetable for publishing full zero-knowledge proofs for its reserves.
