Circle Internet Group disclosed two leadership changes that reduce its board and begin a search for a new chief financial officer.

P. Sean Neville, a Circle co-founder, resigned from the board effective immediately for personal reasons. The board declined from eight members to seven.

Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen notified Circle that he plans to leave by the end of 2026. He is expected to remain in the role through Dec. 31 unless the company appoints a successor earlier.

Circle has hired an executive search firm to identify Fox-Geen’s replacement. The company said neither departure resulted from a disagreement with its operations, policies or practices.

The changes were disclosed in a Form 8-K filed Sept. 25 and build on Circle’s earlier disclosure of the planned executive transition. Neville’s departure is complete, while Fox-Geen’s remains planned.
