Crypto VC Funding Rose 71.1% in September to $1.269 Billion
The total remained 79.2% below September 2025. Polymarket reached a $21 billion valuation after a $300 million investment from 1789 Capital.

Crypto venture funding disclosed in September reached about $1.269 billion, a 71.1% increase from August, as 1789 Capital invested $300 million in prediction market Polymarket.
Polymarket was valued at $21 billion after the investment led by 1789 Capital, where Donald Trump Jr. is a partner. The investment brought 1789 Capital’s total investment in the company to about $500 million, including roughly $200 million invested previously. The post-investment valuation was about 40% above Polymarket’s prior valuation of roughly $15 billion.
The September total included 61 publicly disclosed deals, down 1.6% from 62 in August. Deal count fell 35.1% from September 2025, while disclosed funding was 79.2% below the $6.096 billion reported for that month.
Félix, a WhatsApp-based remittance platform serving Latin American immigrants in the United States, secured $200 million. The financing consisted of $87 million in equity led by Andreessen Horowitz and a $113 million credit facility from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. Félix settles cross-border transfers in USDC, with recipients receiving local currency.
Stablecoin banking platform Jeeves raised $110 million in a Series C led by CoinFund. The company plans to use the funding for stablecoin wallet infrastructure. About 50% to 60% of its international payments are settled in stablecoins, including USDC and EURC.
Nasdaq Ventures invested $100 million in Payward, Kraken’s parent company, at a $21 billion valuation. The companies plan to build infrastructure for distributing Nasdaq-listed companies’ real-world asset shares on Kraken in the second quarter of 2027.
Other disclosed activity included a $57 million funding round for blockchain market data provider Kaiko, led by S&P Global, and a $35 million Series A for cross-border stablecoin payments company Latitude. MoonPay agreed to acquire private-market infrastructure provider North Capital in an all-stock deal. North Capital had a valuation above $60 million.
