Circle and Tereina plan to bring USD Coin (USDC) and EURC payments into SAP Pay, extending stablecoin transfers across enterprise payment and treasury workflows beginning with SAP Cloud ERP.

The companies announced the plan Oct. 7, 2026. Eligible businesses will be able to send and receive USDC and EURC through SAP Pay from existing enterprise applications.

USDC will be the preferred stablecoin for eligible U.S.-dollar payment workflows, while EURC will be used for euro-denominated activity. The arrangement is designed to place stablecoin payments inside established enterprise resource planning processes rather than requiring a separate crypto-payment system.

The expansion builds on Circle’s earlier SAP-linked enterprise payments rollout, which placed USDC settlement within SAP Cloud ERP. The companies described the service as being for eligible businesses and have not provided a timetable for wider deployment.

An SAP demonstration shows a supplier invoice paid in USDC through SAP Pay. The demonstration includes approval controls, transaction tracking, treasury oversight, Circle-wallet settlement, reconciliation and CAMT053 statement handling.

The demonstration describes settlement in minutes rather than days. It presents stablecoin payment as one stage in an invoice-to-payment process connected to approvals, accounting records and treasury oversight.

Circle and Tereina plan to begin customer proof-of-value programs in the coming months. They also plan to train treasury and payments specialists as they test the integration with customers before broader production-scale adoption can be assessed.

“Stablecoins are increasingly becoming a core infrastructure layer for global commerce,” Circle co-founder, Chairman and CEO Jeremy Allaire said.

The next concrete step is the launch of the planned customer programs, which will provide initial testing of the USDC and EURC payment workflows within SAP applications.
