Fibank Plans Bitpanda Crypto Access With €1 Minimum for Customers
The early-2027 integration will bring Bitpanda’s digital-asset services into the My Fibank app, with crypto assets excluded from traditional deposit guarantees.

Fibank plans to integrate Bitpanda’s crypto-asset services into its My Fibank mobile app in early 2027, giving more than 1 million customers access through an existing banking platform with a €1 minimum investment.
The rollout would make Fibank the first bank in Bulgaria to offer integrated crypto access through its app. The bank describes itself as Bulgaria’s largest bank by Bulgarian-owned capital.
Bitpanda Enterprise, Bitpanda’s institutional-infrastructure business, will provide the underlying technology. Bitpanda will be the sole provider of the crypto-asset services.
Approved customers will be able to access the services around the clock, with a minimum investment of €1.
Crypto assets will not be covered by guarantees or compensation schemes that apply to traditional deposits and financial instruments.
“Digital assets are becoming part of mainstream finance, and banks are playing a central role in that shift,” said Nadeem Ladki, Global Head of Bitpanda Enterprise.
“Customer financial habits are evolving rapidly, and it is vital for My Fibank to innovate alongside them,” said Nikola Bakalov, CEO of Fibank.
Bitpanda Enterprise offers infrastructure for investment services, liquidity, custody, payments, stablecoins and tokenization for banks and other financial institutions. Its institutional partners include N26, Société Générale, Deutsche Börse Group, selected Raiffeisen banks, RAKBANK and Onda Finance.
The planned rollout builds on Fibank’s existing mobile-banking platform, allowing customers to access the service through My Fibank rather than a separate application. The early-2027 target remains a launch window, and no exact date has been announced.
The planned integration adds confirmed launch terms to Fibank’s earlier crypto-access plans for more than 1 million customers, including the €1 minimum investment and the exclusion from traditional guarantee and compensation schemes.
