Polymarket Representatives Put Esports Creator Count Above 800

Polymarket representatives cited more than 800 creators in an esports promotion program about two months after citing a count above 300 at the start of August. Participants receive crypto compensation for reposting with commentary from profiles Polymarket runs for competitive gaming. A representative told participants in a program Discord, “This needs to look organic.”

The profiles cover League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike and Dota 2. Polymarket’s esports markets include event and match outcomes, player statistics and some transfer-related questions.

Two participants described $10 per post as a starting rate. Examples included fees of $45 and $75, while another creator negotiated $200 to $300 per post. One participant said they earned nearly $900 in a month after publishing about a dozen posts.

Participants said they negotiated compensation when joining, with their earlier audience views shaping the rate rather than the later engagement on sponsored posts. The program’s PolyTrack dashboard logs submitted posts and earnings along with tax details and crypto wallet addresses. A participant who refers a new creator receives 3% of that creator’s monthly earnings for as long as they remain in the program.

Polymarket’s External Marketing Guidelines call for clear disclosure of paid relationships and bar creators from recommending specific trades. Program prompts stopped explicitly reminding participants to use X’s paid-partnership label in late August. Many posts appeared to carry the label. X requires the label on organic posts that are part of paid partnerships.
