Zions Expects 8% to 12% Net Interest Income Growth by Third Quarter 2027
The bank projects $17 million to $20 million in 2027 revenue from the multifamily lending business it acquired from Basis Investment Group.

Zions Bancorporation, N.A., expects net interest income to grow 8% to 12% by the third quarter of 2027 as it expands its acquired multifamily lending business.
The bank’s outlook assumes three interest rate increases and higher deposit costs. Net interest income is the difference between the interest a bank earns and the interest it pays.
The projection follows Zions’ third-quarter results. Net interest income totaled $684 million, up from $672 million a year earlier, an increase of about 2%. Its net interest margin was 3.23%.
Zions expects the multifamily lending business it acquired from Basis Investment Group to generate $17 million to $20 million in revenue in 2027. It projects $12 million to $13 million in expenses for the business that year.
Over the medium term, the bank expects annual revenue from the acquired business to reach $30 million to $40 million.
