Stifel Leads Meow's $31.6 Million Round for Bank Platform
Stifel Bank plans to offer Meow’s treasury software, including stablecoin payment capabilities, to venture and fund banking clients starting in early 2027.

Stifel Financial Corp. led a $31.6 million funding round for Meow Technologies, Inc. and plans to offer the fintech company’s treasury software to commercial banking clients under the Stifel brand.
The Series B round, announced Oct. 15, included Archetype and brought Meow’s total funding to more than $60 million. Stifel Bank plans to introduce the platform first to clients in its venture and fund banking business.
The planned offering covers cash management, payments, cards and day-to-day treasury work. It also includes bill payment, expense management, invoicing and stablecoin payment capabilities. Those tools are part of Stifel’s planned service; client onboarding has yet to begin. Meow is a financial technology company, not a bank.
Stifel’s venture and fund banking business has more than $10 billion in deposits, nearly six times its September 2023 level. Its roster includes more than 500 high-growth companies, alongside more than 250 fund clients.
“The innovation economy is one of Stifel’s most important growth opportunities,” Stifel Chairman and CEO Ron Kruszewski said.
Stifel expects to begin onboarding clients to the bank-branded platform in early 2027.
