Ally Financial Revenue Rises to $2.332 Billion as Credit Provision Climbs
Its provision for credit losses reached $529 million, while GAAP diluted earnings were $1.30 per share.

Ally Financial Inc. posted higher third-quarter revenue alongside a larger provision for credit losses, with the U.S. financial holding company setting aside $114 million more than it did a year earlier.
Total net revenue reached $2.332 billion in the third quarter of 2026, up from $2.168 billion in the same period last year. The provision for credit losses was $529 million. Ally primarily tied the increase to reserves associated with asset growth.
Earnings were $1.30 per diluted share under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Ally's adjusted, non-GAAP earnings were $1.34 per share.
Ally's businesses include digital banking and auto finance. Ahead of the earnings release, the company raised its quarterly common dividend by 17% to $0.35 a share.
“Third quarter results provide another clear signal that our focused strategy is delivering results,” Ally Chief Executive Officer Michael Rhodes said.
