MEXC plans to end services for affected customers in Russia and Belarus, with notices to spell out when they must close positions and withdraw assets from the crypto exchange.

The announcement gives no common deadline. Affected users will receive notifications with the applicable timelines and procedures. Customers who receive no official notification can continue using MEXC under its terms of service.

The change follows Bitget’s addition of Russia and Belarus to its prohibited-jurisdiction list. Bitget’s updated terms dated Oct. 16 named both countries. On Oct. 17, the exchange outlined how certain users would receive instructions by email, in-app message or push notification. Those instructions were set to include next steps, deadlines and withdrawal arrangements. Accounts without an official notice were unaffected.

MEXC customers who receive a notification will be given the procedures and timelines for closing positions and withdrawing assets.
