Apple Identifies Nearly 100 iPhone Components From U.S. Suppliers
Perryman Company will supply titanium for the iPhone Duo, while Qnity Electronics will make camera films for the iPhone 18 Pro.

Apple’s Oct. 20 manufacturing update identifies nearly 100 components for the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro produced by American companies, with suppliers in more than a dozen states.
Those components come from suppliers in more than a dozen states and include wireless chips and silicon used for key device functions. Apple named Pennsylvania-based Perryman Company as a titanium supplier for the iPhone Duo and expanded its work with Delaware-headquartered Qnity Electronics on camera materials for the iPhone 18 Pro.
Perryman will melt, forge and roll titanium containing at least 80% recycled content at its facility in Houston, Pennsylvania. Separately, the iPhone Duo’s enclosure uses grade 5 titanium. Apple plans to commit up to $100 million to Perryman over three years, as covered in its earlier Perryman partnership announcement.
Qnity will produce advanced films for the variable-aperture system in the iPhone 18 Pro’s 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera. The system adjusts the amount of light entering the camera for different conditions.
Both supplier arrangements are part of Apple’s American Manufacturing Program and its broader four-year, $600 billion commitment to U.S. manufacturing and innovation. The iPhone Duo is scheduled to reach stores Oct. 23.
