Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said the exchange is considering U.S. partnerships with institutions that already have local customers, while Bybit plans a European app with derivatives and tokenized stocks as early as Q1 2027.

Zhou pointed to a firm with an established U.S. customer base as an example of a potential partner. Bybit has not announced a U.S. partnership. Zhou put state-by-state licensing at two to three years and said the company is waiting for clearer regulations and a suitable time to enter the U.S. market. The U.S. plan follows Bybit’s earlier push for licenses in multiple markets.

In Europe, the planned app would include derivatives and tokenized stocks. Bybit is also exploring entry into the U.K. market.
