Bloom Energy’s third-quarter results, due after Thursday’s market close, will be measured against an implied $2.08 billion to $2.38 billion second-half revenue requirement derived from first-half sales and the company’s 2026 outlook.

Bloom recorded $1.0654 billion in second-quarter revenue, up 165.5% from a year earlier. Product revenue was $935.4 million, an increase of 215.4%. Sales across the first and second quarters totaled $1.8164 billion. Bloom’s full-year revenue outlook is $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion, after it raised the range. Subtracting first-half sales from that annual range yields $2.0836 billion at the low end and $2.3836 billion at the high end for the final six months. Those are implied revenue needs, not separate second-half guidance.

Pre-release estimates put third-quarter revenue between $1.06 billion and $1.07 billion. If results land within that range, Bloom would need roughly $1.01 billion to $1.32 billion in fourth-quarter revenue to reach its annual target, depending on where third-quarter sales and full-year revenue fall within their respective ranges. The estimates are a comparison point for the results, not Bloom’s own forecast.

Bloom’s full-year outlook also includes non-GAAP gross margin of about 34%, non-GAAP operating income of $800 million to $900 million and non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.55 to $2.85. The company makes solid oxide fuel-cell systems that provide on-site electricity, including at data centers.

In June, Bloom and Brookfield expanded a financing framework for AI infrastructure power projects from $5 billion to $25 billion. Future material commitments depend on securing appropriate commercial arrangements. The framework’s size does not represent revenue Bloom has already recorded.

Bloom shares rose 7.24% Wednesday ahead of the report. Bloom is scheduled to release its third-quarter results after the market closes Oct. 22, followed by an earnings call at 5 p.m. ET (21:00 UTC).
