Bloom Energy Corporation (BE) shares rose 7.24% Wednesday, a day before the fuel-cell maker releases third-quarter results, as investors consider revenue expectations and Oracle’s project plans.

Bloom was at $238.77 at 3:59 p.m. ET (19:59 UTC), up from Tuesday’s close. The company is scheduled to report results after the market closes Thursday, Oct. 22. Revenue estimates center near $1.06 billion, about twice the $519 million Bloom recorded in the third quarter of 2025 and close to its $1.065 billion in second-quarter revenue.

Bloom raised its full-year revenue forecast in July to $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion. Its business risks include installation delays and the possibility that backlog may not convert into revenue.

Oracle’s plans are another focus ahead of the results. An agreement announced in April covers up to 2.8 gigawatts of Bloom fuel-cell capacity, with 1.2 gigawatts initially contracted. Oracle’s plan to use up to 2.45 gigawatts at Project Jupiter, its planned data center in New Mexico, falls within that partnership. The figures describe planned capacity, not installed systems or revenue.

Oracle’s force majeure notice tied to Project Jupiter addressed payment obligations if the data center were shelved or could not launch as planned in 2028. Bloom shares fell more than 5% in premarket trading after the notice.

Project Jupiter’s microgrid air permit remained under state review as of Oct. 20. The project’s revised power design replaced gas turbines and diesel generators with Bloom fuel cells.

Bloom will hold an earnings call at 5 p.m. ET (21:00 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 22. The update will include the company’s third-quarter results and provide its next scheduled opportunity to discuss deliveries, margins and its annual forecast.
