Coinbase Launches Midterms Dashboard for Election Trend Tracking
The tool lets users explore possible outcomes ahead of the Nov. 3 vote, as control of Congress may shape the timing and direction of U.S. digital-asset policy.

Coinbase has launched an interactive dashboard that lets users follow U.S. midterm election trends and explore possible outcomes ahead of the Nov. 3 vote.
Control of Congress may influence the timing and direction of U.S. digital-asset regulation, including legislation such as the Clarity Act. The election gives the dashboard a policy backdrop as voters choose which party will control Congress.
Bitcoin (BTC) gained in the 12 months after the 2014, 2018 and 2022 midterm elections: 24.5%, 44.9% and 92.3%, respectively. Three elections are too few to establish a dependable pattern, and BTC fell 45.5% in the first month after the 2018 vote. Bitcoin’s three-election history offers limited context.
The U.S. midterm election is scheduled for Nov. 3, 2026.
