Texas Capital Bancshares Inc. expects fourth-quarter 2026 noninterest income to fall below its third-quarter level while expenses rise, as it increases investment in frontline talent across banking and fee-generating businesses.

The Dallas-based parent of Texas Capital Bank forecasts $70 million to $75 million in fourth-quarter 2026 noninterest income, down from $81.643 million in the third quarter. Its expense outlook is $205 million to $210 million, compared with $203.924 million in the prior quarter. The company shared the outlook on its Oct. 21 earnings call.

The fourth-quarter 2026 expense range includes $125 million to $130 million for salaries and benefits and about $80 million in other noninterest expenses. Chief Financial Officer Matt Scurlock said, “We’re increasing investment in frontline talent across both banking and fee-generating businesses.”

Investment banking and sales and trading are expected to contribute about $45 million to $50 million of fourth-quarter 2026 noninterest income.

The company’s third-quarter results included $4.343 million in restructuring costs. Excluding those costs, adjusted noninterest expense was $199.581 million.

For full-year 2026, Texas Capital expects noninterest income of $295 million to $300 million. It also projects noninterest expense growth in the mid- to high-single digits from $768.9 million in 2025.
