Pinnacle lifted its 2026 BHG investment income range to $150 million-$160 million; in July, the forecast stood at $110 million-$120 million. The forecast covers income from Pinnacle’s investment, while loan originations measure BHG’s lending volume.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, net income available to common shareholders was $364 million, or $2.40 per diluted share. Adjusted net income was $409 million, or $2.69 per diluted share.

Income tied to Pinnacle’s BHG investment reached $48 million in Q3, 103% above the second-quarter amount. BHG loan originations totaled $2.5 billion for the quarter and $6.3 billion year to date through Sept. 30. The investment income and origination figures describe separate measures.

Pinnacle’s preliminary common equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio was 10.01% at Sept. 30, compared with 9.93% at June 30. Its objective is 10.25%. Pinnacle views reaching that level within a few quarters as reasonable, without setting a specific quarter or date. The company did not expect share repurchases in 2026.

The second- and third-quarter results reflect the combined company following Pinnacle’s merger with Synovus, which closed Jan. 1, 2026. Comparisons with earlier periods are significantly affected by the merger and purchase accounting.

Pinnacle plans to convert systems in March 2027. Synovus office rebranding is expected in the first quarter of 2027, as the companies continue their operational and brand conversion.
