Mid Penn Bancorp reported third-quarter diluted GAAP earnings of $0.84 per share and $21.6 million in net income available to common shareholders for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026.

Net interest income was $64.640 million, while noninterest income was $10.038 million. The two figures total $74.678 million, or $74.68 million rounded. The company reported basic earnings of $0.85 per share and adjusted earnings of $0.88 per share. The adjusted figure excludes $1.3 million in nonrecurring expense and $789,000 in nonrecurring income.

Net income rose 18.2% from $18.3 million a year earlier, primarily attributable to the William Penn and 1st Colonial acquisitions. Net interest margin was 3.92%, down from 4.06% in the second quarter and up from 3.60% in the year-earlier quarter.

“Strong deposit growth was partially offset by softer-than-expected loan growth and noninterest income generation,” said Mid Penn Chair, President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi.

The company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share, payable Nov. 13 to shareholders of record Nov. 2, 2026. Mid Penn is based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and its common stock trades on Nasdaq under the symbol MPB.
