DeepSeek Hires 中信证券 as IPO Adviser, Adds CFO in September

DeepSeek has hired 中信证券 as an adviser for an initial public offering (IPO) and added a new chief financial officer in September, adding listing and finance leadership steps as the Chinese AI developer pursues its latest funding round.

Legend Capital is participating in the financing, alongside semiconductor-focused 石溪资本, 吉利 and other industrial and financial investors. The earlier financing plan set a 100 billion yuan target and an expected pre-money valuation near 500 billion yuan.

Legend Capital and 联想集团 are both part of 联想控股. 联想集团 is 联想控股’s core industrial company, while Legend Capital is an important investment platform.
