SLB’s third-quarter revenue rose 6% year over year to $9.449 billion, while adjusted diluted earnings per share fell 7% to $0.64, putting sales growth alongside a decline in adjusted profit per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was also 5% higher than in the second quarter. Diluted GAAP EPS was $0.49. Adjusted diluted EPS excludes charges and credits. The two per-share figures reflect different measures of the same quarter, and adjusted EPS was lower than a year earlier.

The year-over-year revenue comparison includes ChampionX, which SLB acquired in the third quarter of 2025. ChampionX contributed $956 million in the latest quarter, compared with $579 million in the year-earlier period, which included only two months of its activity. Excluding the acquisition, SLB’s revenue grew 2% from a year earlier. The partial-year comparison was part of the context in SLB’s Q3 results preview.

North American revenue reached $2.401 billion, up 24% year over year. Revenue from the Middle East and Asia totaled $2.807 billion, up 9% from the second quarter but down 6% from a year earlier. SLB Chief Executive Officer Olivier Le Peuch said all regions grew sequentially, citing a gradual Middle East recovery, North American land growth and broader international activity in deepwater offshore basins.

SLB expects fourth-quarter revenue of about $10 billion, a sequential increase of 5% to 7%. The forecast assumes Middle East revenue will remain flat sequentially at about $1.9 billion. That regional assumption is part of the company’s revenue outlook for the quarter.

Data Center Solutions revenue increased 23% sequentially. Le Peuch tied demand for the business to investment in digital infrastructure, saying, “AI is driving unprecedented investment in data center infrastructure, and customers are looking for partners who can deploy quickly, reliably and at scale.”
