Saylor Posts Bitcoin Message After Strategy’s $22.1 Million Purchase.
The Oct. 23 message named no transaction. Strategy’s latest disclosed purchase was 267 BTC from Oct. 12-18 for $22.1 million.

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael J. Saylor posted an ambiguous message about Bitcoin (BTC) on Oct. 23, but gave no transaction details and did not confirm a new purchase by the company.
Saylor wrote, “Just resolving a few Bitcoin matters behind closed doors.”
Strategy’s latest disclosed Bitcoin acquisition came earlier. The company bought 267 BTC from Oct. 12-18 for $22.1 million, an average of $82,900 per coin, including fees and expenses. It paid $22 million with net proceeds from selling 140,872 Class A common shares and used $100,000 in cash.
By Oct. 18, Strategy’s holdings totaled 848,517 BTC. The company had spent $64.02 billion acquiring them, or $75,446 per coin on average, including fees and expenses.
During that same week, Strategy repurchased 1,938,780 STRC preferred shares for $193.1 million, about 8.7 times its Bitcoin spending. The company’s board raised the authorization for digital credit securities repurchases to $3 billion from $2 billion, leaving $1.16 billion available as of Oct. 18. STRC is Strategy’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock.
Saylor’s Oct. 11 post also hinted at a possible addition to Strategy’s holdings without confirming a purchase; the earlier hint gave no purchase details.
