Anthropic’s Oct. 26 Form S-1 lists $2,745,874 in 2025 security costs for CEO Dario Amodei, an executive benefit that the filing includes among compensation disclosures.

The filing also lists $97,055 for Amodei’s private-aircraft use. Anthropic said his security program required the travel.

The board determined that added protection was warranted for Dario Amodei, President Daniela Amodei and their families based on security studies and increased media attention. The board also cited “bona fide business-related, heightened security concerns.” Measures included individual protection, home surveillance, and private cars with drivers. Daniela Amodei’s security, home protection and transportation cost $1.29 million.

Anthropic places the security expenses under “all other compensation” because disclosure rules may treat them as perquisites. The company describes the program as part of its risk management. The filing lists Amodei’s total 2025 compensation at $17.96 million.

After 2025, Anthropic began offering security services to its chief financial officer, Krishna Rao.
