Binance will raise collateral ratios for PUMP, POLYX and ONG on Oct. 30, changing how the assets count toward borrowing, transfers and collateral across several account products.

On cross-margin products, collateral ratios affect how much users can borrow or transfer against an asset. The revised rates will also apply to collateral in Binance’s Unified Account and tiered collateral in Unified Account Pro.

PUMP’s ratio will rise from 50% to 60%. POLYX and ONG will each increase from 10% to 30%, a 20-percentage-point change for both tokens. The update is scheduled to begin at 2 a.m. ET (06:00 UTC) Oct. 30, and Binance expects to complete the update within 30 minutes.

Binance urged users to monitor the unified maintenance margin ratio (uniMMR) because of potential liquidation risk. Binance previously announced a similar collateral-ratio adjustment for seven tokens scheduled for Oct. 23.
