Soneium opened its IP Vault on Oct. 28 with a $600,000 launch cap, bringing a planned royalty product to launch.

The opening follows Soneium and Asseto’s Oct. 28 launch plan. Their proposal described a vault on Soneium Portal that would accept ipUSD deposits for exposure to returns from a Partners Group royalty fund.

The proposed funding path would have Startale App convert Startale USD (USDSC) into ipUSD at a 1:1 rate. USDSC is a dollar stablecoin issued by Startale Group for use on Soneium.

Earlier plans placed the vault within Soneium’s broader entertainment rights initiative. Soneium Portal was planned as a place to find and take part in tokenized intellectual property projects, while other planned products included IP bonds backed by entertainment businesses.
