Seacoast Sees Q4 Loan Growth Near 10% on Annualized Basis
The bank’s 2026 outlook calls for a 53% to 55% adjusted efficiency ratio; the measure was 53.9% in Q3.

Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida expects loans to grow at about a 10% annualized pace in the fourth quarter, CEO Charles M. Shaffer said Oct. 28, following 13% annualized growth in Q3.
Shaffer described the Q4 pace as “right around 10%” on an annualized basis, with some variation. The estimate included the possibility of loan pipeline fallout, though Seacoast had not seen that at the time of the call. Shaffer said the longer-term growth model remained in the high single digits.
Seacoast’s loan balances increased $428.8 million during Q3. The commercial loan pipeline stood at $1.3 billion as of Sept. 30, 2026. The Q4 figure is an estimate, not a reported result.
The bank’s formal 2026 outlook calls for high-single-digit organic loan growth. It also projects an adjusted efficiency ratio of 53% to 55% for the year. Seacoast’s adjusted figure was 53.9% in Q3, compared with 54.5% in Q2 and 57.6% in Q3 2025.
The Q3 adjusted ratio differs from the bank’s GAAP efficiency ratio, which was 61.0%. Seacoast also reported Q3 net income of $59.9 million, or 55 cents per diluted share. Adjusted net income was $71.8 million, or 66 cents per diluted share.
